Every fundraiser builds to one moment: the ask. So good fundraiser entertainment follows your program, not a playlist. We play soft sets while guests browse the silent auction and keep dinner quiet enough to talk. Then the music stops for the mission video, so the story lands.
When the benefit auction starts, every word has to reach the back tables. We sound check your auctioneer and speakers before guests arrive. Short music lifts play between lots and after big pledges in the paddle raise (some call it a fund-a-need), then drop out when the mic goes live.

Ask us anythingHow much does a DJ for a fundraiser cost?
Every fundraiser gets a flat quote after a twenty-minute first call. A school auction night and a fundraising gala are quoted differently. What changes it: how long the night runs, the size of the room, how many mics the program needs, and add-ons like lighting or screens. You get a quote within 24 hours.
Can your DJ be the auctioneer at our benefit auction?
No. We are not auctioneers, and we will not pretend to be. Your DJ can MC the rest of the program, from the welcome to the thank-yous. For the live auction and paddle raise, we give your auctioneer or host a clear mic, cue music around them and keep the room ready to bid.
What music works best for a fundraiser dinner?
It depends on the part of the night. We keep it soft and familiar during the silent auction and dinner so tables can talk. It gets brighter as the live auction nears. If your event ends with dancing, we open the floor after the ask. Your must-play and do-not-play lists are always honored.
Can you run sound and screens for our mission video?
Yes. Our Audio / Visual service covers speakers, screens and projectors. We play the video with sound during setup, before guests arrive. On the night, we fade the music out before it starts and bring it back once the video ends and your speaker steps up.
Do you work with volunteer committees and school PTOs?
Yes. Your committee may be volunteers with day jobs, so planning calls are unlimited and anyone on the team can join. We build one run of show with your chair or planner, so the auction lead and the night-of volunteers all work from the same page. Email is answered the same day.
What if a microphone fails in the middle of the live auction?
We plan for it. Spare speakers, microphones and a second mixer come to every event. Each mic is tested during sound check, and your DJ stays at the booth through the whole program, so a spare mic can be handed up fast.
