Every banquet gets a flat quote after a twenty-minute first call. The price depends on how long the night runs, the size of the room, how many mics and screens you need, and whether you add lighting or a photobooth. You get availability and a quote within 24 hours.
What music should play when award winners walk up?
Short, upbeat clips work best. Each one starts when the name is read and fades as the winner reaches the stage, so the speech is never drowned out. Send us a must-play list or let us pick. Anything on your do-not-play list stays off.
Can you play our slideshow or season recap video?
Yes. Our Audio / Visual service covers screens, projection and sound. We test your slideshow or video at sound check, before guests arrive, and cue it from the same script as the awards. If the venue has its own screen, we plan how to connect to it during the walkthrough.
Do you MC the awards program too?
Yes. Your DJ is also your MC. We can welcome guests, bring up each presenter, read names if you want us to, and keep the handoffs short. Coaches, principals and company leaders still present their own awards. We keep the timeline moving between them.
How long should an awards banquet be?
Many planning guides suggest about 90 minutes to two hours for a team banquet. The awards take the most time, so we build the run of show hour by hour with you. Quick walk-ups and fast mic handoffs help a long list move without rushing anyone.
Can there be dancing after the awards?
Yes. Once the last award is handed out, the music changes from background to a real set. That can be a packed dance floor for a team or school crowd, or a relaxed mix for a company or association dinner where people want to talk. We read the room live either way.
