Ask us anythingHow much does a festival DJ cost?
Every festival gets a flat quote after a twenty-minute first call. The price depends on how many hours we play, how many stages or areas need sound, and whether you want an emcee, lighting or a photobooth. You get availability and a quote within 24 hours.
Can you DJ between bands during changeovers?
Yes, and it is one of the main jobs we do at a festival. While the stage crew swaps gear, we play music that fits the act coming up next. When the band is ready, we fade out on the stage manager’s cue.
Do you provide an event emcee for stage announcements?
Yes. Your DJ is also your MC. We introduce acts, thank sponsors, call raffle winners and share schedule changes. Send us the script and sponsor list ahead of time, and we build every read into the run of show.
Can you run sound for a beer garden or second stage?
Yes. If your festival has a smaller area with its own music, like a beer garden, kids zone or vendor row, we bring the speakers, mixer and microphones for that space. For a large main stage with touring bands, you will want a concert production company, and we are glad to work alongside them.
How do you plan for outdoor power, weather and noise rules?
We map power during the walkthrough and tell you what our gear needs. Summer storms often build in the afternoon across New Mexico and Arizona, so we agree on a weather plan before the day. Noise permits and sound curfews come from your city permit, and we play to the limits and end time you set.
Do you book headliners or produce the main concert?
No. We do not book bands, sell tickets or supply the large sound system a touring headliner needs. We handle DJ sets, emcee work and sound for the parts of the day we run, such as warm-up sets, changeovers, side stages and block parties.
