Fire rules change with conditions here. Stage 1 restrictions in unincorporated El Paso County ban outdoor pyrotechnics, and in July 2026 the city canceled permitted fireworks shows over critical fire danger. We check the current stage and your venue's rules before cold sparks go on the plan.

Yes. We play venues from Palmer Lake and Monument down to Fountain, and from Manitou Springs out to Falcon. We plan each one like any big event. We confirm load-in with your venue early, bring spare speakers, microphones and a second mixer, and send our insurance certificate.
What if snow hits before a winter or spring event?
Plan for it early. Spring counts too: most of Colorado Springs' biggest one-day snowfalls on record came between March and May. We watch the forecast in the days before your event and plan load-in with the venue around it. If a storm looks likely, we talk timing with you and your venue ahead of the day.
Can you use cold sparks during fire restrictions?
It depends on the rules that week and on your venue. Stage 1 restrictions in unincorporated El Paso County ban outdoor pyrotechnics, and the city has canceled fireworks shows during critical fire danger. Cold sparks are not traditional fireworks, but a venue or fire official can still say no. We check the current stage and get your venue's OK before we plan them.
Can your DJ run the program for a military ball?
Yes. The DJ also MCs, so we can announce entrances, keep toasts and awards on your timeline, then open the dance floor. Fort Carson, Peterson and Schriever Space Force Bases and the Air Force Academy all sit in El Paso County, so formal unit events happen here. Send your order of events. For a venue on post, tell us early about base access for the crew and gear.
What happens if a storm rolls in during an outdoor party?
Summer storms here often build in the afternoon, and July and August bring most of the city's rain and lightning. For lawn and terrace events, we set a covered spot for the gear and agree on an indoor backup with your venue before the day. If lightning moves close, guests and gear come first, and the music picks back up when it is safe.
